Gold Award for Flinders Chase!
We are delighted in be one of the first companies in the country to achieve a Gold Award under the new Fair Payment Code (FPC). Kerrie and Ally accepted our gold award from the Small Business Commissioner at the Awards Ceremony at the Institute of Directors in London.
Established by the Office of the Small Business Commissioner (OSBC) in 2024, the FPC is a payment performance scheme which hopes to improve payment practises throughout the wider supply chain and encourage a culture of transparency and trust between the supply networks.
Being an SME comes with many challenges yet despite some slow payments from our customers, our unwavering approach to fair payment practises highlights our integrity and commitment to others. Our approach helps us maintain excellent supply chain relationships and deliver great results for clients.
Research estimates, SMEs spend 56.4m staff hours per year chasing late payments at a cost of £6.3bn per year and the cost of additional finance to cover cash flow shortfalls because of late payment SMEs is £684m per year.
About us – Small Business Commissioner
It is empowering as a small business to support other SMEs by committing to these fair payment principles and we hope to inspire others to do the same.
